A Story to Tell

It's All About HIM

There would be no "Her Name Was Jane" story to share with you if Jane had chosen to live her life self-centered and contrary to God's leading.

Because Jane knelt as a teenager and surrendered her accomplishments, her life, and her will to HIS will—there is a story to tell.

Because Jane had an unwavering desire to serve the Lord even during uncertain and difficult times—there is a story to tell.

Because Jane depended on the Lord and lived her life in obedience to HIS will—there is a story to tell.

Because Jane, even though she was well into her 80's, was still willing to kneel in the privacy of her bathroom to surrender her will to HIS will—there is a story to tell.

Because of God's continued faithfulness to Jane—there is a story to tell.

Oh, how thankful we are that Jane chose to live her life in obedience to God's will. Without Jane's obedience and God's faithfulness there would not have been a Spirit led intersection of our winding paths and we would not have been the recipients of a Blessed Event. Meeting Jane forever changed our lives. I am so grateful for the sixteen months I had the privilege of being in the physical presence of one of God's precious servants and for the treasure trove of her handwritten notes in her journal and Bibles Jane left behind. Jane's legacy lives on and HIS story continues!

Because Jane was faithful—we have a story to tell.

Because of God's continued faithfulness to us—we have a story to tell.

Walking on His Footpath (Following the Master's Lead) is my faith journey of keeping a journal and recording my personal thoughts while reading through the Bible during this crisis period in our lives. The story of how God used Jane, an elderly woman with Parkinson's and advanced dementia, to minister to us and speak HIS words of Purpose, Path, Praise, Promise, Provision, and Protection are woven throughout my journals. Of the 900+ journal entries, almost 250 of them are labeled as referencing the story of Jane. The impact and indelible impression she made on our lives and on the lives of others during the short time we knew her is undeniable. Jane truly was a miracle sent by God to minister to us for such a time as this and for HIS greater purpose.

We are not the victims of difficult circumstances—we are the grateful recipients of a Blessed Event.

Because God was faithful—we have a story to tell.
